These terms govern your use of the Carvico iOS application ("the app"). By using the app you agree to them.
The service
Carvico is a vehicle logbook: it records fuel fill-ups, service history, reminders, and related information that you enter. Your records are stored on your device and, if you enable sync, in your personal iCloud. The app is provided by FDN Labs Inc., a Delaware corporation ("we", "us").
Subscriptions
- Carvico Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) purchased through the App Store.
- Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
- Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Your content
Everything you enter into the app — records, photos, documents — is yours. We claim no ownership of it. You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you keep and for maintaining backups (iCloud sync and the export features exist for this purpose).
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to circumvent subscription entitlements, abusing the AI receipt-scanning service, reverse engineering the app except where permitted by law, or using the app in violation of applicable law.
AI receipt scanning
Receipt scanning uses an automated model to extract data from photos you submit. Extracted values may contain errors — review them before saving. Scan volume may be limited per plan.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Reminders, statistics, fuel-economy figures, and recall information are informational aids, not professional advice — they are no substitute for your vehicle's manual, manufacturer guidance, or a qualified mechanic.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including loss of data or vehicle damage alleged to result from reliance on reminders or records. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may terminate or suspend access to online features (such as AI receipt scanning) for breach of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version will always be at this page with the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
